Jim Neitz notched another long one today at the annual Manhattan Island Marathon Swim.

By completing the 28.5-mile circumnavigation of Manhattan Island, he became the 69th individual to achieve the Triple Crown of Open Water Swimming.

With his training buddy Tom Ball kayaking at his side, the Ventura Deep Six member smiled broadly after completing another milestone in his marathon swimming career.

In addition to Neitz, Katy Dooley also completed the Triple Crown of Open Water Swimming during today’s MIMS race.
