Pam Lazzarotto, a California waterwoman originally from Canada, is a jewelry designer by profession and a swimmer by morning and weekends.

The fashionable former flyer who swam at the University of Arizona has created a series of unique open water swimming-themed key chains, medallions, awards and necklaces. She will launch her new line at the 2012 Global Open Water Swimming Conference and the Swim Across America events in Long Beach, California on September 21st – 23rd.

The jewelry was designed based on artwork from the 1950s roughwater swimmers,” explains Lazzaratto. “We wanted swimmers to have something that is eye-catching and tells everyone that they are an open water swimmer. Triathletes have their Ironman-branded watches and now open water swimmers can be identified as such while they are at work, school or with their friends.”

Lazzaratto’s jewelry will be made available at the Global Open Water Swimming Conference along with a variety of products and services for open water swimmers.

Products will include everything from FINIS HydroTracker GPS units to Ocean Care Solutions’ jellyfish ointment and the SwimIt. Services will include a variety of unique offerings from Club Assistant’s SwimPhone service to TakeItLive online broadcasting services.
