Jai Jaswanth Crosses The Palk Strait

R. Jai Jaswanth from the Theni district of Tamil Nadu in India successfully crossed the Palk Strait on March 28th 2019, becoming the youngest swimmer to swim the 30 km Strait between India and Sri Lanka.

He started at 4:00 am from Thalaimannar in Sri Lanka located on the northwestern coast of Mannar Island and reached Arichalmunnai in India at 2:30 pm, swimming for 10 hours 30 minutes. His father says the young boy has sights on completing the Oceans Seven.
