Among the Best Organised Open Water Swims that were recognized at the Irish Long Distance Swimming Association ceremonies in Belfast, the Wild Atlantic Swim, Liffey Swim, and WOTS stood out.
The fifth Wild Atlantic Big Swim was a sea swim from Arranmore Island to Burtonport in Ireland in August that served as a charity swim to benefit the Donegal branch of the Alzheimer Society and RNLI.
Partners included the Irish Long Distance Swimming Association, Blueseventy that gave two €600 Helix wetsuits to the male and female wimmers, and the National Open Water Coaching Association.
