It Takes Two To Tango, Especially With Xavier Desharnais

Courtesy of WOWSA, Huntington Beach, California.

What is it with Xavier Desharnais this year?

The Canadian marathon swimmer tied for first with Tomi Stefanovski at the 60th 32 km Traversée internationale du lac St-Jean in Quebec, Canada in July and then he ties for second with Ukrainian Vlodymer Voronko at the 39th 16 km Faros Maratón in Croatia.

Close races in the professional marathon swimming world are not rare, but ties are. For a single athlete to experience two ties in a season is bordering on unique.
