Ion Lazarenco Tiron Swimming For Peace, Part 1

Ion Lazarenco Tiron swims with a purpose: Peace.

The native of the Republic of Moldava was one of the nominees for the 2018 World Open Water Swimming Man of the Year award.

In addition to the Oceans Seven and Triple Crown of Open Water Swimming, the Ireland-based swimmer raises a lot of money and awareness for his Swims of Peace for the children of the Republic of Moldova.

His swims and charitable efforts and work has so moved two governments to forward his name for the 2019 Nobel Peace Prize.
