Betsy Jordan and Pete Riddle were the first married couple on record to swim the Maui “Auau” Channel.

We know this because Judy, John, Janet, Betsy and Pete are swim friends from Coronado Masters Association (CMA) in Coronado, California. When we started the Ironman John and I were members of the Waikiki Swim Club.
