Hurray For Hirai

Courtesy of WOWSA, Huntington Beach, California.

Yasunari Hirai, an Olympic 10K marathon swimmer from Japan, launched a new personal website – see here.

The magazine cover model from Chiba Prefecture (north of Tokyo) is a hungry athlete. He thrives on competition, both domestically throughout Japan and internationally across 5 continents around the world. He travels and trains where he can find passionate, knowledgable coaches who love pushing their athletes.

Hirai is shown below in the 2012 Olympic 10K marathon swim where he placed 15th.

He is looking forward to not only improve his position in the next Olympic 10K Marathon Swim at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games, but even to extend his career into his thirties at the elite level and podium for his native Japan at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.
