Hot, Happy Times In Brazil With Open Water Swimming

With coach Ricardo Cintra, world champion Poliana Okimoto, coach Fernando Alves Possenti, world champion Ana Marcela Cunha, coach Kiko Klaser, FINA World Cup leader Allan Do Carmo, Diogo Andrade Villarinho, and world championship medalist Samuel de Bona (up close), Brazil has one very fast-swimming national open water team, arguably the best in the world and one highly motivated group of swimmers.

In the build-up to the 2016 Rio Olympic Games and the Olympic 10K Marathon Swim in Copacabana Beach, the team is a hot commodity both in Brazil and the FINA 10K Marathon Swimming World Cup circuit, especially with recent victories in China by Ana Marcela Cunha and Allan Do Carmo.
