Hill’s Getting Chills Thinking About Coniston End To End

Following the very successful Big Chill Swim where 380 individuals participated in icy temperatures, British aquapreneur Colin Hill announced the launch of a new event, the Chillswim Coniston – 5.25 miles End to End.

With the popularity of mass participation swims in the UK, I wanted to have an event that brought these swims closer to their spiritual home – by swimming end to end of a lake,” colorfully explains Hill.

This event will have full support down the lake for swimmers. I feel will be a wonderful progression from those swimmers moving from becoming an open water swimming to becoming a Long Distance Swimming and understanding the thrill of completing the length of a lake.

Which is an experience that you just don’t get when you swim around buoys until you have completed a set distance,” describes Hill.
