Melissa Gorman, a serious contender for the gold in the Olympic marathon swim today in the Serpentine, has some serious fans cheering for her.

Like many other swimmers from around the world, the mothers, fathers, aunts, uncles, brothers and sisters have followed their loved ones to London. There are no greater fans.

The weather is gorgeous and the 24 women finalists are ready to go.
