The Goa Open Water Swimming Club is organizing the Interstate Swim on April 27th on the west coast of India from Maharashtra to Goa, a new 5 km coastal sea swim.
The Club describes the swim, “The West coast of India boasts of beautiful, pristine beaches, with clear blue waters to swim through – an open water swimmer’s dream – for those who want to unlock a new challenge and new destination for a swim.
This is a 5 km long swim, and with the seasonal shift in the weather, this swim is open to intermediate and advanced level swimmers, who are looking for a little adventure and excitement in a long distance swim. If you’re looking for slightly choppy conditions to test yourself, this one’s for you.”
Swimmers can fly into GOX (Manohar International Airport) and meet on Keri beach at 6:30 am on April 27th.
