Freedom Swim Series Takes On The Youth

Youth Day Swim, part of the Freedom Swim Series, will be held at Camps Bay in Cape Town, South Africa on June 16th.

The event has 2 distances: 1 or 2 mile races with the funds going to the SEAL Open Water Swimming Development Trust whose trustees include include Ram Barkai, Theodore Yach, Andrew Chin, Annette Cowley and four-time Olympian Ryk Neethling.

Youth Day commemorates the uprising against Bantu Education in the mid-1970s. The Youth Day Swim raises funds for the education of disadvantaged youths.
