Mexican marathon swimmers Nora Toledano and Mariel Hawley Dávila successfully completed a tandem swim across the Molokai Channel in 14 hours 28 minutes.

They faced good overall favorable conditions,” reported escort kayaker Steve Haumschild.

Both women completed their fourth Oceans Seven channel with this crossing.

Michael Twigg-Smith commented about their crossing from Kaluakoi Beach on Molokai to Alan Davis Beach on Oahu, “Amazing that just a day after the full moon, with large tides on tap, there was very little current. They were able to make progress in a straight line all the way across.”
