“I lured [the fish] from their hiding place with a shirt on a rope,” recalls 37-year-old Louis Jordan who was lost hundreds of miles off the American east coast. “And then I just stuck my hand in [the water] and put my hand right next to them and scooped them up.”
Sounds simple and effective.
It had to be. Because Jordan was far out from the shoreline without the ability to return home as he was drifting aimlessly and powerlessly in the Atlantic Ocean.
“I was utterly thankful and grateful to the people who rescued me,” Jordan told CNN.
