Elizabeth Fry, Philip Rush, Nora Toledano and Mariel Hawley Dávila got together in Wellington, New Zealand to prepare for their upcoming Cook Strait crossing.

There may not have ever been four more prolific marathon swimmers together in New Zealand like these four.

Their exploits are renowned.

They have completed solo swims, record swims, and unprecedented swims in lakes from lac St-Jean in Canada to Apache Lake in Arizona, from the World Professional Marathon Swimming Federation circuit to a record-setting tandem swim across the Tsugaru Channel in Japan.
