Andy Donaldson of Scotland swims fast and is ready to rock each day of the EPIC SWIM Maui, but a day of rest was necessary for swimmers and escort crew alike after Day 1 and Day 2 of the 300 km circumnavigation stage swim of the island of Maui.
Today, the EPIC SWIM Maui group faced strong head-on currents, swimming 14.2 km in 5 hours 9 minutes through the beautiful Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary en route to their 260 km circumnavigation stage swim of the island of Maui (shown on right below). The day before the group swam 15.1 km in 4 hours 53 minutes (shown on left below).
