Double Roughwater Moves Up ‘Cause Of Jellies

Waikiki Jim, aka Jim Anderson, announced the 34th edition of the the 7 km Hawaiian Christmas Looong Distance Invitational Rough-H2O Swim (aka Double Roughwater) held in Waikiki Bay on Oahu in Hawaii. The event will be held on Sunday November 22nd.

The Hawaiian Christmas Looong Distance Invitational Rough-H2O Swim is locally called the Double Roughwater because the course is basically a two-way route over the traditional 2.4-mile Waikiki Roughwater Swim course.

The change in date is a result of Mother Nature throwing her weight around by her scheduling a jellyfish party for the first weekend in December, our normal date.

Details and the application can be found at www.LongDistanceSwim.com,” explains the International Marathon Swimming Hall of Fame inductee.
