David Dammerman Describes Crossing Of Lake George

David Dammerman, Chief Executive Officer of Great Mountain Investment Associates, set a record for swimming 32.2 miles across Lake George in 18 hours 54 minutes.

The 47-year-old businessman and race organizer from Saratoga Springs explains what he confronted in the video above.

Historic crossings of Lake George include:

1958 Diane Struble, age 25 in 35 hours 30 minutes
1962 Bill Stevens, age 31 in 31 hours 27 minutes
1967 George Dempsey, age 17 in 32 hours 15 minutes
1977 Stella Taylor, age 45 in 26 hours 51 minutes
1981 John Freihofer in 21 hours 26 minutes
1983 Jerry Ferris, age 43 in 29 hours 15 minutes
2016 David Dammerman, age 46 in 18 hours 54 minutes
