Swimming in the “Land of A Thousand Islands”

Have you ever imagined swimming in crystal clear warm waters in a secluded cove on a remote island? How about a different cove on a different island every day? Sounds impossible? It isn’t. Swim Cruise provides experience that is unparalleled to any other swim vacation. Most of the swim trips include hotel stay and daily excursions to beautiful swim spots. With Swim Cruise your hotel is on the water and it goes with you to your dream swim location. You don’t have to waste your time in traffic or worry about how you will get to your next destination. Your vacation time is valuable and organizers of the Swim Cruise have made sure that you spend it wisely.
“We take care of the logistics once you are on the boat. We fill your time with activities around Croatian islands as you go from port to port. You will enjoy your active vacation to the fullest. From the moment, you board your hassle-free journey begins. Our guest’s never worry about what to do next.” Ivan Vranjes started Swim Cruise with his partner Mateo Juric after they had several successful seasons with Water Polo Cruise. “It was just natural for us to replicate what we do with water polo and add open water swimming experience.”
Swim Cruise offers 8 days and 7 nights on one of their yachts that can accommodate up to 40 people. Yachts are equivalent to the regular hotel accommodation or as the organizers mention, they range from A+ to Deluxe category. These luxury yachts are the perfect place to have an amazing experience. Cabins are air conditioned with private bathroom and shower. Cruise includes daily breakfast and lunch with occasional dinner service. Breakfast is buffet style with a different spread every day. Lunches are 3 or 4 course meals that are freshly prepared by the boat’s chef and his crew.
Daily activities include two swims, paddle boarding, kayaking, snorkeling, hiking and sightseeing. This trip goes far beyond swimming which makes it a perfect family vacation. Excursions to river rafting or zip-lining are just some of the additional activities provided by the cruise. Upon request wine tasting and dinner outings are arranged by the organizers.

About Croatian islands:
The Croatian Bureau of Statistics uses data from the Geographical Department of the Faculty of Science of the University of Zagreb, which classifies a total of 1,185 islands, rocks and reefs: 48 inhabited islands, 670 uninhabited islands, 389 rocks (hridi) and 78 reefs (grebeni). The rocks and reefs are defined as the “rocky remains of an islet or a rocky formation destroyed by abrasion”, differentiated by whether they are “always above sea level” or “at, under or above sea level (at low tide)”, respectively.
