Croatia Open Water Swim Cruise is organized by Ivan Vranjes and Mateo Juric. The water polo players started a successful Water Polo Cruise program in Croatia.
Swim Cruise is a 9-day, 8-night cruise that starts from the city of Split and goes around central Dalmatian islands and towns. It also includes participation in the 16 km Faros Challenge, a non-competitive event for amateur open water swimmers and master swimmers that includes a solo and a relay swim across Stari Grad Bay.
The cruise is on the Adriatic Sea, along the beautiful Croatian coast and islands with every day spent in a different port: Split, Omis, Makarska, Brac Island, Korcula Island, Dubrovnik, Stari Grad – Hvar Island, ending with the Faros Challenge.
Breakfast and lunch is included, with two daily open water swims, full-time swim guides, swim analyses, safety lessons, medal, t-shirt, and complimentary dinner.
The Faros Challenge is a 16 km non-competitive swim across the Stari Grad Bay at Hvar Island which is one of the ten world’s best vacation islands and the most beautiful islands for open water swimming. Amateur swimmers participate in this marathon swim along the same route of the unique Faros Maratón – one of the world’s most prestigious open water swimming events.
