American swimmer Craig Dietz will return to participate in the aQuellé Midmar Mile in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa once again.

The Limbless Waterman was a guest swimmer in the past, but this year, the 42-year-old is stepping up his game. “I’ll be swimming all 8 miles for the PinkDrive at the Midmar Mile. I have committed to raising US$2000 for the PinkDrive.” His donation page is here.

Race director Wayne Riddin explains the PinkDrive, “By swimming in PINK for PinkDrive, you will help us to raise funds to keep our existing fleet of mobile units and educational vehicles on the road as well as build new mobile units. We have, to date, done over 10,000 mammograms, conducted more than 98,000 clinical breast examinations and educated more than 250,000 people on breast health.

By swimming for us, your contribution will help us make a difference in communities across South Africa.”
