You are NOT comfortable NOT being courageous. And you are comfortable being courageous. For you, these two traits go hand-in-hand.

Although you may become cold, you are quite comfortable – mentally, emotionally, psychologically – when you are being courageous. Our physical being is simply a temporary biochemical reaction that is happening in our brain caused by changes such as temperature, physical exertion or fear. Most people cannot or do not want to deal with those kinds of biochemical reactions and have no mental ability to override or overlook it.

But heroes do. Adventurers do. Leaders do. Olympic champions do. They do all the time, especially when they are on stage or in an arena of competition or conflict.

Everyone has their physical limit. But people as yourself can most easily and comfortably take themselves right to that limit – and occasionally beyond. On the other hand, most of humanity stays far, far, far away from these limits. They are comfortable being comfortable and uncomfortable being courageous.

So I beg to differ with your tweet
