The 15 km Clean Half Extreme Marathon Swim is celebrating its 10th anniversary on October 8th.

We have 4 soloists from Argentina coming and some from Australia and Singapore already signed up,” said race director Doug Woodring. “There are solo and relay team divisions.

Teams have five swimmers each, in the men’s division, women’s division, mixed division with at least two women, Carbon Neutral with a 6-person outrigger canoe as a support craft, and the YakSwimmers division. YakSwimmers includes two swimmers switching every 30 minutes the entire way using one kayak. If you are not swimming, you are paddling; no motor boats are allowed.”
