Italy’s Salvatore Cimmino will attempt a 103-mile (168 km) solo freestyle crawl from Havana to Cuba across the Florida Strait sometime during his scheduled window of April-May 2016.
Before he gets in the water, his physical condition requires that he do a bit more preparation than his fellow open water swimming colleagues.
