In Boston’s Logan International Airport, Chris Williams created a striking underwater marine scene from metal and glass, beautifully illuminated.
“Seascape was created for Logan International Airport in Boston,” says the third-generation metal worker from Lockport, Massachusetts. “This installation was done in 2010 at American Airlines. It has been a show stopper. They tell me the passengers stop dead in their tracks. Really cool piece with plenty of details to discover. The big bass fish was a collaboration between Peter Houk at MIT glass lab and myself. I made the big bass, and then Peter and his team blew the glass inside. It takes a village…“
