Chris Sheean, Race Director for the Big Shoulders, is sweating bullets like Colin Hill did before this year’s Great North Swim.

“We can’t control the water temperature and we can’t control Tropical Storm Hermine which is forecasted to hit in the pre-dawn hours on coming Saturday in Chicago, but interest in at an all-time high.”

“We sold out almost one month ahead of our September 11th race day and have a waitlist of people, on top of the 800 entries.”

Those people from the Windy City – the City of Big Shoulders – are tough.
