Coached by Chloë McCardel last August, Callum Eade from New Zealand completed a 10 hour 56 minute crossing of the English Channel.
Now he is off to Molokai Channel in Hawaii.
Eade, a cancer survivor, explains how to found his way to Hawaii en route to trying to achieve the Oceans Seven, “Having conquered the English Channel last year, I decided why stop there. There was still so much I could do to contribute to Riding to Cure Cancer, especially since there was heaps still to be done in the research for a cure for children’s cancer. That’s when the dream was born and I said to myself – “one down, six more to go!” I am now on a quest to conquer the Seven Seas. More precisely, I’m taking up the Oceans 7 Challenge.”
