Busy Times For Sharon Van Rouwendaal

Thomas Lurz, David Meca, Trent Grimsey and a handful of other swimmers have famously competed in all the open water swims at a single FINA World Swimming Championships.

But Sharon van Rouwendaal of the Netherlands took another twist to a busy, busy athlete with loads of stamina and speed.

Swimming World Magazine interviewed Sharon van Rouwendaal of the Netherlands who not only won two silvers in the 10 km marathon swim and 5 km team pursuit and finished fourth in the 5 km race at the open water swimming venues, but who also earned a bronze in the 400m freestyle and finished fifth in the 800m freestyle in the pool.
