La Asociación Amigos de la Ría de Navia offers a fun game (called the La Apuesta in Spanish) around its Copa Asturias and its Descenso de la Ría de Navia that are held in northern Spain in the Navia River.
Before the two races, fans, spectators, family and friends can predict the male and female winners. They fill out a survey sheet with the names, countries and ages of the fastest 7 – 12 swimmers in each event.
Individuals who select the top swimmers in each race (male + female, Copa Asturias + Descenso de la Ría de Navia) win a special prize.
