Mark Walter announced over 1,400 attendees will attend the inaugural Multisport World Conference and Expo in Bethesda, Maryland this weekend. Multisport World Conferences and Expos are also held in Cambridge, Massachusetts and New York City.
Seminars galore on a variety of swimming, running, biking, nutrition, injury prevention and training are one of the most popular features of Sun Multisport World Conference and Expo – all of which will be filmed by Beginner Triathlete.
On Saturday, March 27th, Steven Munatones, one of the editors of The Daily News of Open Water Swimming, will speak on the tactics of open water swimming, a broad-based overview of the tactics and strategies utilized by competitive open water swimmers in local beach races and professional marathon swims, including a peek at what may happen at the Olympic 10K Marathon Swim at the 2012 London Olympics and 2010 World Open Water Swimming Championships in Roberval, Canda this coming July.
He will talk about what the the world’s best open water swimmers look for, what they think about and what they do during a world-class open water swim and its implications on what triathletes and younger swimmers should look for in order to improve their performance. He will talk about how athletes can learn how these tactics in the pool while training and how to utilize when racing.
