Ana Marcela Cunha Wins Maratona del Golfo Capri-Napoli

30 swimmers from 17 countries competed in today’s 49th edition of the Maratona del Golfo Capri-Napoli.

As expected, former 25 km marathon swimming champion Ana Marcela Cunha of Brazil won the 36 km sea marathon, finishing ninth overall and setting a new women’s course record in the process:

4. Silvie Rybárová (Czech Republic) 6:44.25

7. Lexie Kelly (USA) 7:25.25
8. Vanesa Rita Garcia (Argentina) 7:50.41
9. Elena Lionello (Italia) 7:59.21
