Amos Nachoum On No Demons Of The Sea

Amos Nachoum, an influential award-winning Israeli photographer and explorer, has led National Geographic photo expeditions of the Red Sea, Great White Sharks, and killer whales.

He also co-founded Israel’s Marine National Park on the Red Sea and has his work published by National Geographic, Time Magazine, Life Magazine, The New York Times, Condé Nast Traveler, Le Figaro, Terra Sauvage, Airone, Mondo Somerso, Der Spiegel, Unterwasser, in books like The Living Ocean, The World of Nature, Oceans and México Pelágico, and has been profiled on television with National Geographic Explorer, Today, and Good Morning America, and in magazines like in People, Esquire, and Money.

His photography has won Nikon, Communication Arts, and BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year awards.

His San Francisco-based adventure-travel program is Big Animals Expeditions where he takes people to observe, photograph, and revere the most magnificent creatures on the planet. For more information, visit here.
