At the 2016 British Swimming Coaches Association Conference last weekend, the Youth Coach of the Year award was presented to former professional marathon swimmer Alan Bircher.
Bircher, who is currently coaching at Ellesmere College and a FINIS Coach Ambassador, is shown with his wife Stefanie Bircher née Biller and daughter.
