

Adele Havercroft, a 48-year-old British triathlete and ice swimmer from Brough, England, became the most recent Iron Icewoman in history.
Years ago, she completed the 2019 Ironman UK in 14 hours 22 minutes.
Most recently, she completed the second leg of the Iron Icewoman challenge: the Ice Mile.
In Hatfield, Doncaster on January 20th 2024, the English Channel swimmer added another feather to her swim cap when she completed an Ice Mile in 4.60°C water and 4.00°C air temperature, swimming 1.0253 miles in 39 minutes 8 seconds.
