Kevin Helliker, award-winning reporter of the Wall Street Journal and an open water swimmer himself, writes about the comeback of 78-year-old Marilyn Di Lascio, née Bell and her dreams to participate in a 13-mile Hudson River swim at the age of 80.

“I don’t know whether I will be able to do [the 13-mile marathon swim], but it’s an exciting thing to think about,” she tells Helliker here.
