Once More…Moesha Johnson Wins Again. Oliver Klemet Joins Her On Top World Cup 3 km Podium

Spread the love

In today’s season-finale World Aquatics Open Water Swimming World Cup 3 km Knockout Sprints in Setúbal Bay, Portugal, there was no surprise that Moesha Johnson (28, Australia, World Aquatics bio here, @swimmer_moesha) once again dominated the competition, 4.8 seconds over Bettina Fabian of Hungary. Another race, another podium position, another gold, another wave to the fans, and a set of post-victory interviews.

But on the men’s side, Oliver Klemet of Germany handily beat a slew of Olympic medalists including Gregorio Paltrinieri of Italy, Marc-Antoine Olivier of France, David Betlehem of Hungary, and Florian Wellbrock of Germany in a similarly dominating fashion (4.2 seconds over Paltrinieri).
