David Hartmire completed the first leg of the Swim22 in 11:52:10.

David touched Mike Vovk (shown getting his night glow sticks being attached to his goggles) who quickly swim off from Doctor’s Cove on Catalina Island on the second leg.

Nick Gismondi a producer at Universal Sports, is producing a documentary of the open water swimming version of Man vs. The Elements.

So far, Man won Round One.
