While channel swimmers like Hank Wise have been approached by lemon sharks during crossings of the Catalina Channel (see videos below), and swimmers like Gary Hall Jr. have had encounters with sharks in the Atlantic, it is rare that passersby of aquariums are also approached by lemon sharks.
