“I never imagined Copacabana Beach would be cold,” remarked Chip Peterson after he emerged from the 16ºC waters. “I don’t remember it being cold at the Pan American Games.”
The participants in the King and Queen of the Sea may be in for a surprise during this weekend’s event with the lower-than-normal water temperatures.
