- 2-mile Newport Beach Pier to Pier Swim on July 19th (register here)
- 1-mile, 3-mile Naples Island Swims in Long Beach on August 16th (register here)
- 1-mile Corona Del Mar Don Burns Swim on August 23rd (register here)
- 0.5-mile, 1.2-mile Swim the Avenues in Redondo Beach on September 13th (register here)
- 0.5-mile, 1-mile Mission Mile in Mission Viejo on September 20th
- 1 km, 5 km Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Open Water Championships in Long Beach on October 17th (register here)
Word along the Southern California shoreline is that two-time Olympic champion Sharon van Rouwendaal (31, Netherlands, MSF bio here, World Aquatics bio here, @svrouwendaal) will participate in one of the summer events. More to follow.
