The most popular open water swims around the world from the Manhattan Island Marathon Swim to the Great Chesapeake Bay Sea sell out within minutes.

A new swim on the block, the Tampa Bay Frogman Swim has reached that same point.

The 5 km open water event is a charity swim for the Navy SEAL Foundation on January 11th 2015. Kurt Ott describes, “Swim with the Navy SEALs and and help us never leave a man behind. 100% of the proceeds go towards supporting the mission of the Navy SEAL Foundation which provides tragedy assistance to the families of Naval Special Warfare personnel killed or wounded in combat or training.

We were sold out in 33 minutes.”
