3° – 4°C, Now That’s Outrageous

The Team Outrageous Open Water Races< is holding an extreme cold-water swimming event in Kent, England on January 9th 2010 in the lead-up to the always popular 2010 World Winter Swimming Championships in Bled, Slovenia (see photo on left).

Athletes can test their mettle in some pretty jaw-locking, head-splitting, teeth-chattering races in Kent.

Team Outrageous has non-wetsuit 30-meter races for freestyle and breaststroke and a non-wetsuit endurance race over 550 meters for those with proven ability in water that will range from 3° – 4°C.
