2020 FINA Marathon Swim World Series Schedule

Rachele Bruni of Italy and Kristóf Rasovszky of Hungary will have one specific race and one overwhelming goal in mind for their 2020 swim season: to win gold in the Olympic 10K Marathon Swim in Odaiba Marine Park in Tokyo Bay, Japan on October 5th and 6th respectively.
But the defending champions of the FINA Marathon Swim World Series will have plenty of other opportunities to win major international races during 2020.
The 2020 FINA Marathon Swim World Series schedule – where US$680,000 in prize money will be up for grabs – is as follows:
Stage 1: February 8th in Rosario, Argentina
Stage 2: February 15th in Doha, Qatar
Stage 3: May 3rd in Victoria, Seychelles
Stage 4: June 6th in Budapest, Hungary
Stage 5: June 13th in Setúbal Bay, Portugal
Stage 6: July 19th in lac St-Jean, Québec, Canada
Stage 7: August 8th in lac Mégantic, Québec, Canada
Stage 8: August 30th in Lake Ohrid, Macedonia
Stage 9: September 19th in Nantou, Taiwan
Stage 10: October 16th in Chun’An, China
Stage 11: October 25th in Hong Kong
