David Carry, a gold medalist from the Commonwealth Games and pool sprinter, dropped down on his knee and proposed to world 10K champion and Olympic silver medalist Keri-Anne Payne, “I asked if she liked her ring, but she said she couldn’t see it for tears.”
“I am very, very excited about the future. It will be perfect for me to organize the wedding between now and the Olympics,” said Keri-Anne. The fastest swimming couple in the world – a pair of British Olympians – plan to marry in Aberdeen after the 2012 Olympics.
