Professional marathon swimmers Petar Stoychev and Victoria Mori participated in the 2016 2016 Winter Swimming World Championships in Tyumen, Russia where 1,275 athletes from 42 nations are competing.
Mori, who is more accustomed to swimming for hours on end in warm waters, did particularly well in the 200m freestyle after placing 15th overall in her first world winter swimming championships.

Victoria Mori‘s winning 200m freestyle is shown starting at 12:50. It was great race where Elina Makinen forged ahead for the first 100 meters, but then Mori pulled ahead.
