Over the last three years, Dan Projansky has been absolutely [Vicki] Keith-like* with miles upon miles of butterfly traveled in various open bodies of water.
In addition to this weekend’s 36 miles swum butterfly* over 15 hours 22 minutes that he just completed at yesterday’s END-WET**, he also did 27 miles of butterfly at the 2012 END-WET race in North Dakota, 8.2 miles butterfly at the 2012 Swim4Freedom event in Wisconsin, another 27 miles butterfly in the 2013 END-WET, another 8.2 miles fly at the 2013 Swim4Freedom, 9 (out of 12.5) miles fly in the 2013 Swim Around Key West in Florida, and 36 miles fly in the 2014 END-WET, 8.2 mile fly in the 2014 Swim4Freedom, and 9.5 miles fly across Canyon Lake during the 2014 S.C.A.R. in Arizona
That is 169.1 miles (272 km) over the last 3 years while carrying on as a mild-mannered banker in Chicago, Illinois.
But he is not finished for 2015. He will do the annual Swim4Freedom 8.2-miler and was its top donor in 2014.
He will keep on ‘flying and generating donations (see here).
