National governing bodies around the world are making their public announcements of their teams for the 2015 FINA World Championships in Kazan, Russia from British Swimming to Russia Swimming.

But names of the open water swimmers are noticeably missing from the team rosters in a vast majority of press releases.

Since open water swimming races are considered part of the FINA swimming races and open water swimmers are counted as swimmers from the perspective of FINA and the IOC, it is unfortunate that the names of open water swimmers are not included in the general press releases on the world championship teams from the perspective of the open water swimming community.
