Canadian marathon swimmer Susan Simmons of British Columbia and the Spirit Orcas, a group of developmentally disabled athletes who challenge themselves in the open water, have completed several swims in British Columbia’s Great Bear Rainforest.
The pioneering Spirit Orcas include Cheyenne Furlong-Goos, Drew Sabourin, Aly White, Ben Vanlierop, Dixon McGowan, and Maria Sharock are an inspirational group.
