Walk Before You Swim

The walk into the open water before a competitive professional open water swimming race is always done slowly. No one runs and no one rushes to the in-the-water starting line. It is a casual, mellow, gentlemanly approach to the sport that demonstrates the confidence that each of the athletes will be able to start in their preferred position.
